Snow-Shoe Walking in Ramsau am Dachstein

Through the Pension Hoffelner it is possible to organise guided snow shoe walks for all abilities with a number of local companies. These treks will take you through the otherwise untouched and beautiful landscape around the Ramsau plateau and foot of Dachstein Glacier.

The cost is approx - €25/person

It is also possible to go on a guided Snow-Shoe trek across the Dachstein Glacier which for the keen snowshoe walker is an opportunity not to be missed with stunning scenery and views making it an unforgettable experience.

A 5 hours Snow Shoe Tour across the Dachstien costs approx. €70/person including Cable Car trip up to the Glacier and the bus journey back.

Another amazing activity for non-skiers or if you would just like to try something different.

Ski/Board Schools & Equipment Hire

Ramsau is the perfect place to learn to ski and there are several local ski schools offering both group and private lessons for full and half days with patient English speaking instructors. Lessons can be booked for children from 4 years old and can include lunchtime supervision. All lessons and equipment hire can be pre-booked through the Pension Hoffelner who will even organise transport for guests to the hire shop on arrival.
